Performance
The powertrain lineup for the 2022 Tundra has been revamped. One of the two powertrains available in the 2022 model year is a 389-horsepower, twin-turbo V6, 3.5-liter gas engine. A hybrid variation of this twin-turbo V6 engine is also available, and it delivers 437 net horsepower to you. Both powertrains are combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission. For 2022, the suspension system has been redesigned. In addition, electric power steering replaces hydraulic steering.
Appearance
The brilliant updates to the 2022 Toyota Tundra continue throughout the exterior. The next-generation design includes a flat hood with a tall, molded nose. The nose consists largely of a drop-down grille that extends through the front bumper. This black grille is accented with a chrome surround, and it directly integrates with the bold LED headlights. On the sides, the confident wheel wells are flared and have black molding. The smooth door panels are enhanced with a crisp accent running through the lower portion.
Features
Inside, you will find a spacious cabin with a modern design and an array of contemporary features. The base-level features include a 4.1-inch driver’s instrumentation screen and an 8-inch central infotainment system screen. Higher trim levels step these up to 12.3 inches and 14 inches, respectively.
