Being a large SUV, the Sequoia has always had a spacious interior, and that doesn't change. With three-row seating, this SUV can comfortably seat up to eight passengers. By adding captain's chairs to the second row, though, that number can be reduced to seven.
Due to its numerous trims, the Sequoia's interior can feature come with either cloth or leather seats. Additional amenities found in this model include heated and cooled second-row seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium audio system.
The Toyota Sequoia will only be available with one powertrain. Under the hood is a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 engine and an electric motor. This combination allows the Sequoia to produce 437 horsepower and 583 pounds of torque. Rear-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic transmission are standard, and four-wheel drive will be optional on most trims.
With a complete redesign comes new and upgraded technology and safety features. Across its various trims, drivers can find a 14-inch touchscreen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and smartphone mirroring. While inside the Sequoia's newest trim, the Capstone, features will include open-pore wood trims and sound-reducing front glass.
