LE
As the base trim, the LE is loaded with features. There's an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, LED headlights, and adaptive cruise control.SE
This sportier version of the LE features the standard equipment of the LE and new amenities. These new features include sport-design styling, sport-tuned suspension, and synthetic leather seats.SE Nightshade
Being a more stylish version of SE, the SE Nightshade offers 19-inch bronze-colored wheels and a black exterior trim. There are also black badges and a black rear spoiler.
XLE
The XLE builds on the LE trim. Standard features include leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, and a wireless smartphone charger.
XSE
This top-tier trim combines the equipment from the SE and XLE. This trim also has 19-inch alloy wheels, a gloss black grille trim, and a metallic interior trim.
Performance
There are two powertrains available for Greenacres and Palm Beach shoppers to pick in the new Camry Hybrid. There's a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with two electric motors that produces 225 horsepower. Then there's a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with three electric motors, producing 232 horsepower. A continuously variable automatic transmission is standard on both models. However, front-wheel drive is standard with the base engine, and all-wheel drive is available for the other.
Fuel Economy
For now, the EPA hasn't released any info on the Camry Hybrid fuel economy. That said, last year's model offered around 51 mpg city and 53 mpg highway. Thus, we expect the latest model to offer the same, if not better, gas mileage.
Design
The updated Camry Hybrid offers a new exterior look, complete with sharper-looking headlights and a more angular hood. The cabin, too, has been overhauled, and it offers Wellington and Royal Palm Beach drivers'drivers similar enhancements. For instance, there's a new dashboard design with a large trim piece stretching from the passenger's side to the infotainment display. Higher trims offer leather seating, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and ambient lighting.
Technology
Coming standard in the Camry Hybrid is an eight-inch display running on Toyota's latest software and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Higher trims utilize a larger 12.3-inch unit. All models also have a digitized gauge display, but only the top two trims get a fully digital gauge cluster.
Safety
Toyota has a reputation for having some of the most reliable models on the road. That's why the new Camry Hybrid is loaded with an abundance of safety features. Basic features include automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. Boynton Beach shoppers who purchase a higher trim will receive a head-up display, surround-view camera system, and parking sensors.
