Every year, Toyota updates its roster of vehicles in both big and small ways. This year, models like the 4Runner, Camry, and bZ4X are getting some love and are changing for the better. There's much to discuss, so let's check out what you can expect from these updated models.
Changes to the 4Runner
When it comes to off-road excursions, the Toyota 4Runner is an exceptional model. But things can always be improved. So, now all models are built using the same platform and components as the Tacoma truck. This allows the 4Runner to maneuver over rugged terrain and tow heavy equipment much easier. Along with its off-road changes, the new 4Runner features an updated grille, LED headlights, and a sleeker body design. The model also comes with 33-inch all-terrain tires.
Additions to the Toyota Camry
For many years, the Camry has been offering drivers a reliable and fuel-efficient ride. And this tradition continues for the new model year. Now, all models are standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which provides pedestrian detection and sign recognition. Additionally, there's a new color called Dark Cosmos and a new Nightshade model. A new hybrid powertrain is also offered and it has an estimated 51 mpg combined.
Updates to the bZ4X
Toyota's only electric model is the bZ4x, and while it offers many great features, not many can remember its name. That's why moving forward, all models will simply be called the bZ for better brand recognition. Along with a name change, the new bZ model will have a longer-range battery life of 314 miles. The cabin, too, has been overhauled and features customizable ambient lighting, a 14-inch touchscreen, and four USB-C charging ports.
