Sedans have lost some of their popularity over the years. But that hasn't stopped many manufacturers from producing new models. For the 2026 model year, Toyota is releasing an updated Camry, and we want to discuss what we know.

Bold New Exterior & Interior

The 2026 Camry is expected to get a bold redesign. Recent spy photos suggest the model will offer an updated grille, more stylish LED headlights, and an updated wheel design. Inside, the cabin will retain the enhancements introduced last years model. These include a split dashboard with air vents and a touchscreen that blends seamlessly into the dashboard.

Other anticipated upgrades include:

  • Larger touchscreen infotainment system

  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Panoramic sunroof

Performance

The upcoming Camry will maintain its hybrid system and be powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Those who opt for the front-wheel-drive model will likely receive around 225 horsepower, while all-wheel drive models will boost the output to 232 horsepower. Also available will be a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) for a smoother driving experience.

Safety Technology

Toyota is known for prioritizing safety, so expect the 2026 Camry to come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. This bundle will include:

  • Pre-collision system with pedestrian detection
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane departure alert with steering assist
  • Lane-keeping assist
