With a new year upon us, Toyota is releasing a brand-new vehicle to its lineup called the Toyota Crown Signia. The Signia will replace the Vena and offer a bold new design, better performance, and more versatility. As Toyota’s new mid-size SUV, the Signia is a great fit for any driver. You’ll love this model, too, so keep reading to learn more about it.
What to Know About the Toyota Crown Signia
The exterior of the Sigina has a fresh design that helps it stand out. Its slanted headlights, bold front grille, and 21-inch wheels give it a unique appearance. The interior is even more special, offering a comfortable and upscale cabin for five.
The cabin also features a 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital gauge. The touchscreen offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, a voice assistant, and Wi-Fi. In the base model, a six-speaker stereo is available, though an 11-speaker stereo by JBL is in the Limited trim.
Glance under the hood, and you’ll find every trim has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors. This setup gives the Signia all-wheel drive, 243 horsepower, and an estimated 36 mpg combined. It also offers around 2,700 pounds of towing strength.
Also, all Signia models come with a copious number of advanced driver-aids, most of which are standard. Standard features include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist. Tech like a 360-degree parking camera, front cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist are also available. However, these are only offered in the optional Tech package for the Limited trim.
