Highlights of the New Toyota Prius
Only a single powertrain is available in the Toyota Prius lineup. This hybrid setup sees a 2.0-liter inline-four gasoline engine attached to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard and with it the Prius can output 194-hp. Though with the optional all-wheel drive equipped the horsepower is increased to 196.
