Available Features of the bZ4X
Powering the new bZ4X is a front-wheel-drive, single-motor setup that outputs 201 horsepower. A dual-motor all-wheel-drive model is also available, and this setup will boost the vehicle's performance to 214 hp.
With these two powertrains and its drivetrain setups, the EPA estimates that the bZ4X will offer varying degrees of range. The following are the estimated ranges:
- XLE FWD: 252 miles
- XLE AWD: 228 miles
- Limited FWD: 242 miles
- Limited AWD: 222 miles
As for charging, Toyota claims that at a DC fast charger, reaching an 80 percent charge should take an hour. Though with a home charger reaching a full charge is estimated to be about nine hours.
With only two trims in the lineup, Toyota has loaded each model with plenty of amenities. Basic amenities include a panoramic glass roof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, and a six-speaker audio system. And for safety, Toyota has loaded the bZ4x with many advanced driver-aids. These include emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign assist.
