The Toyota Tundra is a pickup that, after 14 years, underwent a full redesign last year. This redesign delivered a powerful and smooth driving experience, plus a newly constructed cabin. This year, not much has changed for the Tundra, but there is a new appearance package that drivers are sure to love.

What’s New for 2023?

No major changes are offered to the 2023 Toyota Tundra. However, a new SX appearance package is offered to all SR5 trims. This package adds black and dark gray elements to the Tundra's exterior and interior, plus 18-inch dark gray wheels. Also included are blackened door handles, body trim, and a rear bumper mid-section. To purchase the SX package, customers must buy a white, silver, gray, or black model.

Features of the New Toyota Tundra

Outside of the new appearance package, there are no other changes made to the 2023 model year. Drivers looking to buy this model will find the same engine and amenities as last year's model. This includes the base turbocharged 3.5-liter 389 horsepower V6 engine and the battery-electric hybrid system that outputs 437 hp.

When sitting inside the cabin, drivers will discover an eight-inch touchscreen is now standard. Though it can be upgraded to a 14-inch version. Smartphone integration for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also standard. And higher trims feature a panoramic sunroof, heated front & rear seats, and sound-reducing front windows.

In terms of safety, the Tundra comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. This includes pre-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a lane-keeping system. In higher trims, drivers can find features like a head-up display and a 360-degree camera.
