Coming Soon: New All-Wheel Drive Toyota Sedans

Shoppers will find many of our SUVs and trucks offer all-wheel-drive. At Palm Beach Toyota, we even offer the Toyota Prius with AWD as well. However, two new sedans will soon offer this drivetrain as well: the Avalon and Camry. Toyota recently announced these two sedans would soon have Dynamic Torque Control AWD as an option. Both will soon come available in West Palm Beach by Spring, 2020. Contact Palm Breach Toyota to learn more or see us on South Congress.

Not Settling, Only Helping

The Dynamic Torque Control All-Wheel-Drive system comes optional on many new Toyota models. This adaptive AWD does not compromise fuel efficiency for extra traction. The AWD even helps reduce energy consumption while keeping the ride smooth. If the system detects slip, it can route up to 50 percent of torque to the wheels. The AWD keeps you centered and in control of the car without burning excess gas. The Toyota brand wants to introduce this system to its Camry and Avalon sedans. While all-wheel-drive does not tend to appear on other sedans, Toyota aims to innovate.

Toyota Safety Sense

As more and more drivers turn to SUVs, sedans need extra safety. Many upcoming Toyota sedans will feature AWD, along with existing safety features. Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P) comes standard on all new Toyota models. These apps also use sensors to monitor road conditions as you drive. TSS-P apps include:

  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
  • Automatic High Beams (AHB)
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA W/ SA)
  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/ PD)
  • Road Sign Assist (RSA)- available with TSS 2.0

Coming Soon to Palm Beach

These two all-wheel-drive sedans will hit the streets in Florida by Spring, 2020. In the meantime, you can contact our sales team to learn more. You may also talk to us about test driving one of our current Toyota AWD models. Learn more today and visit us at Palm Beach Toyota!
